Queen Elizabeth wraps up UAE visit

ABU DHABI - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II left UAE on Thursday following a two-day visit to the country. She was seen off by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

She was also seen off by Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Reem Al Hashemy, Minister of State & Head of the honorary Mission accompanying the Queen, Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al Mutaiwee, UAE Ambassador to the UK, British Ambassador Dominic Jeremy and senior officials.

Queen Elizabeth expressed thanks and appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm hospitality accorded to her and her accompanying delegation during her visit and wished UAE further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of Sheikh Khalifa.
