President invites leaders for GCC Summit
ABU DHABI - The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a letter on Monday to the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani inviting him to attend the 31st GCC Summit due to be held on December 6 and 7 in Abu Dhabi.
The letter was delivered to the Emir by the Acting Charge d’Affairs at the UAE Embassy in Doha, Salem Obeid Al Zaabi during an audience with Shaikh Hamad at the Emiri Court.
Al Zaabi also conveyed the greetings of Shaikh Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,
The President also sent a similar letter to His Majesty, Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
The letter was delivered to the King by the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdul Aziz Bin Hadef Al Shamisi during an audience at Safiriya Palace.
