Following this deal, the number of buses operated by RTA will increase to 2,500 in 2009, providing public transport services in all areas of Dubai as well as providing feeder service to Dubai Metro stations. The Congress is being organised by the RTA in association with UITP. It’s held under the theme “Towards a smooth public transport journey”.
