A German passenger onboard a Jet Airways flight opened the plane's emergency exit door moments after landing at a Mumbai airport.
Identified as Steve Titschler was on a Jet Airways flight 9W 585 from Abu Dhabi. On being questioned about his actions by the crewmembers, he was quick to say "just for fun".
His 'fun' didn't last long enough as the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was called in to escort him to a police station. Titschler had to board another Jet Airways' flight to Delhi at 3pm, but wasn't allowed to do.
According to a Mid-Day report, an FIR was registered against him under IPC Sections 336 and 29 of Aircraft Rule, 1937.
