The campaign theme is ‘My Country, My Security’.

It aims at collecting palm impressions in different colours of the national flag from half a million residents. These impressions will be displayed on a huge board from the beginning of the celebrations.

Shaikh Saeed said the campaign has deep national, social and security dimensions and would reflect the citizens’ loyalty and allegiance to the country and its wise leadership.

He said the celebrations would highlight the great achievements made by Abu Dhabi Police in line with the dreams of the founding father, late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and realised by the efforts of Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior.

These efforts, he said, had contributed tremendously to upgrading performance of the police, thus bringing about security, stability and tranquillity for both nationals and residents. He urged all members of the public — nationals and residents — to participate in the campaign.
