Outlet serving pork shut down in RAK
RAS AL KHAIMAH — A restaurant that has been serving pork to its customers as ‘halal’ food has been ordered to be shut down by the public health authorities.
The RAK Municipality and the RAK Police Department also found that the food outlet was operating without a licence from a residential building. What is more, the joint served, apart from pork, other non-vegetarian items like chicken, dry fish and canned meat beyond the expiry date.
