Oxford Educational Institutions introduce students to over 100 multidisciplinary courses, accredited by renowned education boards

The Oxford Educational Institutions, under the aegis of the Children's Education Society, has 36 educational institutions offering value education from kindergarten to doctoral programmes to nearly 20,000 students. The institutions have a total of 2,500 teaching staff.
Says S N V L Narasimha Raju, Vice-President of the Oxford Education group: "There is growing Gulf NRI interest in many of our courses. The students are increasingly joining programmes such as law and dentistry."

The group started the Oxford Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, which is approved by the Medical Council of India and affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, for the academic year 2014-15. It had an intake of 150 students for the first-year MBBS degree programme.
"There was huge demand from all over the country for seats and we had to close admission within 15 days," says Raju. The medical college campus, located on a sprawling 30-acre plot along Hosur Main road near Yadavanahalli, also has a teaching hospital, which provides free medical treatment, and a hostel.
Oxford Educational Institutions offers programmes in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, engineering, architecture, computer education, management, commerce, life science, arts and law.
The Oxford Dental College, Hospital and Research Centre, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, has been accredited for five years with a CGPA of 3.66 on a four-point scale at 'A' grade valid from July 2012.
It is one of Asia's biggest dental colleges with facilities for pre-clinical and clinical training. The infrastructure includes state-of-the-art CAD-CAM facility and implantology. It has been recognised by the UGC.
The Oxford College of Engineering is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and has been granted 'accredited' status by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. It is also accredited to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The Business Management Chronicle conferred it a 'certificate of excellence' as an 'A+ college of India' in 2013.
It is also featured among the top engineering colleges and won awards by several publications.
The engineering college campus is set in a sprawling five-acre plot of land and with nearly 60,000 square metres of built-up area spread over two blocks. The college is equipped with cutting-edge technology, laboratories and networked computer labs. Recently, it bagged eighth ranks in BE, MBA, MCA and MTech courses.
The Oxford College of Science and Management, affiliated to Bangalore University and accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade, is located in a six-storey building in HSR Layout. The science college has been ranked first among private colleges in Karnataka for four years by India Today magazine, and came third in an India Today-Nielsen survey.
The Oxford College of Business Management was ranked fourth among private colleges in Karnataka by the same survey. Both the Oxford College of Science and the Oxford College of Business Management have been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The Oxford College of Hotel Management offers BHM and MTA courses and is recognised by the Karnataka government. It is also approved by the AICTE, affiliated to Bangalore University and accredited to the NAAC.
A new campus at Hongasandra provides paramedical courses and the institution is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The Oxford College of Pharmacy has been accredited by NAAC.
In addition to various accreditations obtained by individual institutions, the Oxford Educational Institutions are accredited by the International Accreditation Organization.
The research and development wings in all campuses envisage the future requirements of higher education, enabling postgraduate students to take up PhD programmes in their own institutions. 
Over the past 34 years, Children's Education Society has emerged to be a provider of top quality education in Bengaluru with 36 institutions offering 100-plus multidisciplinary courses. The group also has hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities.
