New name for Western Region
ABU DHABI — The Western Region Development Council (WRDC) will announce a new name for the Western Region at the ‘Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2008’ event to be held here from May 13 to 15, a Press release said.
The new identity for the Western Region follows extensive market research across the UAE, GCC and other parts of the world, involving not only local residents but also prospective tourists and investors.
WRDC will stress on the opportunities available for investors and developers in Western Region, and will reveal the true essence and spirit of the region, at the property and development exhibition, Mohamed bin Azzan Al Mazrouei, WRDC Director General, said yesterday.
He said, “We’ll announce a new name for the Western Region at the event and raise awareness about what the region has to offer, in addition to establishing key links with potential investors, developers, important organisations and tourists.”
