The 44-year-old Emirati man missing for 10 days has been found by the Ras Al Khaimah Police, with help from the Dubai Police.
Col Abdullah Ali Mankhas, director of the RAK police’s CID department, said they were alerted about the whereabouts of the mentally disturbed man, known as Salah, by the Dubai Police late on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, RAK police had appealed to the public to help find the missing man, who was wearing a traditional local white kandura.
“Some people found the missing man, whose pictures have been widely posted and shared by mass media and social websites,” Mankhas said. The RAK police immediately contacted the man’s family who rushed to Dubai and picked him up, he added. Mankhas said: “Parents, especially, are urged to keep an eye on their children.”
