Minister visits schools in remote areas
DUBAI — The Minister of Education, Dr Hanif Hassan, visited a number of schools in the remote areas of Dubai yesterday morning.
The minister visited schools in Al Aweer, Al Lesaily and other areas, where he inspected buildings and facilities offered by the schools.
The minister expressed his admiration for the computer laboratory at Al Aweer Elementary School, which was funded by Shaikha Rawdha bint Ahmad bin Jum’a Al Maktoum, wife of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry. The minister pointed out some shortcomings, including in teaching methods, at the Al Lesaily Girls High School.
