According to court documents, the victim went with some British friends to a restaurant in Bur Dubai.
The suspect, who knew her friend, introduced himself as a soldier in the UAE forces and offered her a drink.
After she left the restaurant, the man insisted on dropping her at her flat in Jumeirah.
He then abused and beat her up and threatened to kill her before driving to a deserted area, where he raped her.
She was then forced to take him along to her flat where the suspect again abused her.
When he went to the restroom, the victim called her neighbour and sought help. She later reported the incident to the police who arrested the suspect.
The suspect confessed to the crime during his interrogation, according to court records.
