Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director of the Investigation Departmentat the Criminal Investigation Department of Ajman Police, said the police received a tip off about the accused. “Aftergetting adequate information about the suspect, surveillance conducted on him proved that he possessed banned CDs at his home located in Al Jarf area. We have found 1000 CDs in his possession. During interrogation he confessed to selling pornographic CDs to earn his living.”
The official added that the suspect was illegally staying in the country and was working at a scaffolding company. The suspect is currently detained and will be referred to the Public Prosecution. The CDs were confiscated by the Police.— amira@khaleejtimes.com
