DUBAI — The Education Ministry has completed re-arranging the minister’s office, where four foreign experts would begin their work today, in the backdrop of speculation of a massive reorganisation of the ministry.
Though there has been no official confirmation of the functions of the experts, there are reports that this month could see several major changes.
It is said that the new structure of the ministry may make a large number of senior officials redundant.
Some officials, including directors of the departments and their deputies, may be redeployed to the educational zones to tackle their staff shortage.
The educational zones, it is said, would be given more independence to handle their affairs.
