Fifa Club World Cup to Boost UAE Tourism

ABU DHABI - UAE hosting the Fifa Club World Cup 2009 is one of the opportunities which boosts the government efforts to highlight the bright and civilised image of the country, according to the Tourism Police Division at Abu Dhabi Police.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Darwish Al Qamzi, head of tourism police hoped to inculcate the sense of the theme ‘Ideal support features elegancy and civilisation’, which should be considered in all sport events.

Lt-Col Qamzi called on Emiratis, expatriates and tourists not to hesitate in seeking assistance from the tourism police personnel when needed, and emphasised on the preparedness and readiness of the tourist police to provide service as quickly as possible, in a way that reflects the brightest image of the country.

Tourism police provides tourists with instructions and advice at border entry points, seaports and airports.
