ABU DHABI — A federal e-link for the traffic departments of all the emirates is in the offing, a senior official has revealed. Brigadier Mattar Salim Al Neyadi, director of IT Department and head of the Police Services Development Committee, told Khaleej Times that a committee set up by the Ministry of Interior was currently finalising the details of the federal e-link.
Brigadier Al Neyadi said the e-project would help residents finalise their traffic transactions, including payment of fines, at any traffic department in any emirate, regardless of the place where the driving licence was issued.
