Expert to speak on dangers of smoking
SHARJAH — The Sharjah Preventive Medicine Department has organised a number of events to be held on May 31, the Anti-Smoking Day, at the Al Qasimi Hospital Sharjah.
The events include lectures and sessions by Khaled Al Jubail, consultant cardiac surgeon in Prince Abdul Aziz Medical Centre in Saudi Arabia, on the dangers of smoking.
Dr Jubail is expected to give four lectures in different places in Sharjah. A function will be held the same day to honour those who have quit smoking.
