Entrepreneurial Workshop
DUBAI — Dubai Women's College (DWC), in conjunction with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, held a joint "Entrepreneurial Workshop" along with the College's Annual Bazaar recently.
The event brought together students to hear a panel presentation showcasing young national female entrepreneurs in Dubai. The purpose of the workshop was to generate awareness about the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders and develop entrepreneurial skills in DWC graduates and students.
Ali Al Shafar from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders talked about strategies to determine the right type of business. He also emphasised on the importance of thorough business planning, and proper financial preparation to assure success of a new entrepreneurial project.
In the presentation, the role of mentorship in providing guidance to young entrepreneurs was highlighted.
