Pakistani authorities busted a drug smuggling attempt into Dubai, APP reported on Friday.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh on Friday arrested a suspect and recovered a large quantity of a 'controlled drug' (Xanax tablets) from his luggage at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.

An ANF official informed that the accused was identified as Asad Sultan, son of Muhammad Sultan, and he was travelling to Dubai with 320 Xanax tablets (0.085 grams).
The approximate value of the recovered drugs in the international market is Rs0.2 million.

A case has been registered and further investigations have also been initiated.
