Dubai parks to host various activities
DUBAI - The Public Parks and Horticulture Department at the Dubai Municipality is organising a number of events in Dubai’s parks during the Eid Al Adha. The programmes will be held daily from 10am till 11pm, from Tuesday to Saturday.
Ahmed AbdulKarim, Director of the department said the parks in Dubai were all decked up for Eid Al Adha.
He called upon the public to maintain cleanliness and safety at the parks.
“Their [inappropriate] social behaviour and customs such as smoking shisha can negatively affect the environment at the parks,” said AbdulKarim, pointing out that smoking is banned in areas where children play. The municipality had also banned smoking shisha in the parks.
