DSS awards for scribes
DUBAI -The Heritage Surprises Organising Committee from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced the 'DSS Awards for Press Contribution' for the Heritage Surprises theme week that concluded on August 13.
The awards for the best English report was given to Sajeesh Gopalan for his article in Gulf Today titled Arab Dances Testimony to Region's Rich Heritage and the award for the best photograph of the theme week was given to Khalid Nofal of the Al Bayan newspaper for his photograph of Heritage Surprises theme week.
The award for the best Arabic report was given to Mohammed Ebaid for his feature, Heritage Surprises shows Amazing Past, in the Al Khaleej newspaper.
