Dad's presence of mind saves 3-year-old who swallowed seed

A three-year-old boy had a miraculous escape after swallowing a fruit seed.
The child, who swallowed the seed by mistake while eating a fruit, suffocated and fell unconscious. Though family members failed to figure out what exactly happened to the child, a timely action by the father saved the boy who was on the verge of death.
The father rushed the boy to Al Muhaisnah ambulance point instead of waiting for a physician to come and rescue him.
The paramedics performed a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedure on the child until he regained consciousness.
Acting-Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services Essa Al Ghafari said that it was the fastest rescue effort by the paramedics at Al Muhaisnah ambulance point.
The child was later shifted to Latifa Hospital where he received treatment for breathing problem.
