As the year 2020 closes in and Dubai gears up for euphoria, corporate houses are joining in the fervour. In line with mega developments written on the cards, Nikai has also been gearing up for the big event. Since inception, the key operating word for Nikai has always been 'Quality' and 'Reliability'. No stone has been left unturned to fortify all areas - from operation to new products - to meet the expected growth.
Quoting Paras Shahdadpuri, Chairman of Nikai Group of Companies, "The Expo promises to unleash an ocean of opportunities through employment and scores of visitors. Affordable electronics and home appliances are looked upon as a necessity today, and we see endless possibilities for a brand like Nikai that wears the mantle of reliability."
Nikai was established over two decades ago by Shahdadpuri, who was an ex-diplomat serving the Indian government. Today a leading businessman who is affectionately known in business circles as "Mr Reliable" and a statesman, he is the winner of the prestigious Bharat Shiromani Award; owner of a Superbrand; and above all, a philanthropist who takes deep pride in serving the community.
Shahdadpuri has been honoured with many accolades and titles for serving the business community. He received the "CEO International Achievement Award" at Power Brands Hall of Fame and was hailed for his contribution to the Global Electronic Sector during the Middle East Business Leaders' Summit.
Recently he was bestowed with the "Gulf Excellence Award" by the NDTV network and "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the Indian Innovator Awards by the prestigious BNC Group. Forbes listed him as one of the top Indian leaders in the UAE and he has been featured as one of the 100 Most Influential Global Indians.
After holding a commendable position at India's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shahdadpuri took the plunge and set up Nikai in 1995. Today his brand stands shoulder-to-shoulder with leading international brands, offering over 400 products under the Nikai umbrella and over 50 million satisfied customers across the globe. According to Shahdadpuri, each Indian corporate around the world carries the reputation of the nation on their shoulders and should ensure that they are viewed as honest and reliable.
He has created a brand that stands tall on a foundation of trust. Customers have faith that a Nikai product is strong and reliable. It was through word-of-mouth and repeated cross category purchase that the brand has grown in an organic format. Internally the sales mantra is simple: 'one satisfied customer leads to another'.
Under Shahdadpuri's guidance, Nikai has won many accolades like the Dubai Quality Award, ISO Excellence Award, Dubai Service Excellence Award, and the prestigious Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) in 2014 and again in 2016.
The Group that first saw fame in the electronics segment has now diversified to varied business ventures from trading to outsourcing and staffing. As a patriot, Shahdadpuri has served as the President of the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC), and when it comes to charity, he has always led by example, supporting groups like Dubai Cares, Rashid Paediatric Centre, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, Dubai Autism Centre.
In essence, his inner being resides in service - a quality that has made these shores proud of this Indian who has chosen to give back to the land that gave him a supporting hand.
