Ayyan files contempt plea against ministry

Islamabad - The plea highlights the recent verdict given by the Supreme Court in the currency smuggling case.

Model Ayyan Ali has filed a contempt of court plea in the Supreme Court against Interior Ministry and authorities concerned for not removing her name from the Exit Control List (ECL), in violation of the court order.
Lateef Khosa, Ayyan's counsel filed the petition in the Supreme Court.
The plea highlights the recent verdict given by the Supreme Court in the currency smuggling case. The court had allowed foreign tours to the model. The plea cites mother's illness and business commitments in Dubai reasons for urgency in the matter.
