Agreement signed to develop UAE talent

DUBAI — The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Italy's leading business management institution, School of Business Management and Organisation (SDOA), to provide young UAE talent with the skills necessary to take up leadership positions in the future.

The MoU was signed by Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr Vittorio Paravia, SDOA President, in the presence of Dr Tayeb Kamali, Vice-Chancellor of the HCT, Dr Alessandro Paravia and Dr Benedetta Paravia, Intercultural Project Coordinators.

"This MoU will further strengthen the existing relationship SDOA has with the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. At SDOA, we have the Intercultural Project under which we establish joint initiatives with Arab and Euro-Mediterranean countries to enhance knowledge," said Dr Paravia.

"Last year, SDOA started offering its Intercultural Balance Course to UAE students. Encouraged by the response, we accepted UAE students for the Entrepreneurship in Tourism and Communication Course.
