The opening ceremony will include many carnival-like activities, screening of a documentary film on the evolution of the Abu Dhabi law-enforcement authority, parade and fireworks. The documentary would be screened on a giant screen to be installed in the Sports City, Major-General Badran, who is also the chairman of the organising committee, said.

He expressed satisfaction over the efforts made by the ad-hoc committees to make the event a success.

He made these remarks at a meeting of the organising committee held at the Police Officers Club on Sunday.
