4-year-old girl, man honoured for honesty

The girl found an envelope containing Dh13,000 while man found wallet with Dh10,000 and cards

Sharjah — The Sharjah Police have honoured a four-year-old Pakistani girl, Farat Al Ain Atiq Al Rahman, aged four for her honesty and good behaviour.

The girl found an envelope containing Dh13,000 and handed it over to the Buheirah Police. Colonel Arif Hassan bin Hudaib, Director of Sharjah Police, presented an appreciation certificate to the girl in the presence of her father Atiq Al Rahman and also thanked him for his cooperation.   He said the Sharjah Police are keen on honouring all community members who cooperate with the police.

 

Man returns Dh10,000

In another instance on Sunday, the Sharjah Police honoured an Indian for his honesty. The Indian, Dileep Kelooth, found a wallet containing Dh10,000 in addition to credit and bank cards which he handed over to Al Dhaid Police Station. The police in turn handed it over to the owner.

Colonel Haran Al Kutbai, Deputy Director of Sharjah Central Police Station, praised Dileep’s honesty and hailed his cooperation with the police in searching for the owner.
