24 accidents in seven days in Sharjah
SHARJAH - The Al Buhaira Police Department announced that 24 traffic accidents occurred in the area covered by the department in the previous week.
The accidents resulted in the death of three people and the injury of ten individuals, according to a statement issued by Al Buhaira Police Department.
Speaking about the accidents, a source at the department said one of the accidents happened at the Industrial Area No. 10, where a vehicle struck a 45-year-old man and carried to the hospital for treatment.
As for the accidents that led to the death of three people, the source added that one occurred at Al Khan Area, where a vehicle crashed into one of the shops at the area after colliding with another vehicle.
A 43-year-old man was killed.
A 34-year-old man died in the Industrial Area No.1 after a vehicle hit him, the source said, adding that a 30-year-old man was also killed after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle.
The source urged public and motorist to respect the traffic rules.
