21 cinema screens for Abu Dhabi's mall
Abu Dhabi - VOX Cinemas coming up at Al Maryah Centre, Abu Dhabi's latest mall sensation being built on Maryah island
The multiplex owned by Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas will have 1,700 seats in 21 screens equipped with some of the latest technology from the world of cinemas.
"We are very excited about the fantastic developments taking shape on Al Maryah Island, and are delighted to be part of Al Maryah Central's full service lifestyle offering, playing such a prominent role in the future of entertainment in Abu Dhabi," said Cameron Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas, after signing the lease deal with Al Maryah Central's developer, Gulf Related.
The 91,000 square-feet new VOX cinema will present seven different ways to watch the latest movies, including some of its popular screen options, laser IMAX with 12 channel immersive sound, 4DX, the exclusive dining experience Theatre by Rhodes, in collaboration with Michelin Star chef Gary Rhodes, as well as a new VOX Kids concept and VIP Cinema experience. The cinemas will be equipped with Dolby Atmos sound technology and 100 per cent digital imagery for crisper, bright screens.
