11 injured in Oman road accident: Report

Muscat - The accident resulted in one critical injury while seven others sustained moderate injuries.

Eleven people were injured following a taxi bus accident in Al Seeb near Muscat International Airport on Thursday, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) reported.

"Emergency rescue teams were at the site near the airport bridge -heading outside Muscat- as a taxi bus crashed and rolled up leaving a number of injured people on the site" PACDA said in a tweet.
According to Times of Oman, the accident resulted in one critical injury while seven others sustained moderate injuries. Three other passengers escaped the crash with light injuries.
In March 2016, eighteen people have been killed and 14 others injured when a Salalah-Dubai passenger bus collided with a truck and car at a roundabout on the road connecting Fahud and Ibri.
