How far can you go to get a proper parking slot? And how far will be too far?
A man in China took the task of parking his vehicle way too seriously when he drove over a security guard in a bid to find the perfect spot.
The incident was reported in Shezhen in China's Guangdong province.
According to the Shanghaiist, as the man tried to find parking for his Mercedes car, the security guard lay right in front of the vehicle to stop him front-entering the slot.
According to the video posted online, the driver did not bother to stop and drove over the guard to park his car.
The security guard had earlier tried to stop the car by standing in front of the vehicle.
When that doesn't work, he simply lies down on the ground in the hope that his effort can stop the car from getting into the parking lot. Sadly, it wasn't enough. But that's some commitment to one's work - and finding the right spot for one's car.
Shanghaiist reported that no injuries were caused to the guard. The matter is being investigated.
