After Donald Trump's strange 'covfefe' tweet reached viral status, some companies are jumping in on the typographical error which gave the US president some unexpected fame. He later embraced the 'covfefe' trend and challenged Twitterati to find out what it means.
One such example of a brand making the most out of this trend is the Gulf's Royal Jordanian Airlines, the flagship carrier of Jordan.
In order to promote their new, discounted rates to the US, the team behind Royal Jordanian's Twitter account integrated the now famous term into their promotion. The ad reads: 'Offering wide covfefe of the USA through gateway cities'. The post was captioned with a simple hashtag.

Twitter users are completely in love with the airline's timely promotion.

The Royal Jordanian Airlines' social media channels have been very active in picking up on trends. Especially those taking place within the United States. Even before Donald Trump won the US elections, the airline has been putting a spin to their promos based on Trump's political stance on Muslims and Arabs.

They doubled up on this when Trump first signed the initial 'Muslim ban' which barred entry to the US of residents from seven Muslim-majority countries.

The airline's reaction to the US electronics ban was also creative - they even made a poem about it!

When a man was dragged out of a United Airlines plane, Royal Jordanian - as well as other Gulf airlines were quick to put up their strong comebacks to United.

We have to say, Royal Jordanian certainly has their social media game dialled in.
