GCC Foreign Ministers to meet in Jeddah

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States (GCC), will hold the 127th session of the Ministerial Council for Foreign Ministers next Sunday in Jeddah.

The meetings will be chaired by Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the current session with the participation of Secretary-General of the GCC, Dr. Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al Zayani.
Dr. Al-Zayani said that the ordinary session of the Ministerial Council is of particular importance due to the topics on its agenda, as well as the fact that region is witnessing rapid changes and events that require unified stands.
Al-Zayani added that the GCC Ministerial Council will review issues related to the progress of GCC joint action in all fields.
The Secretary General said that the meeting will be preceded by a joint meeting with GCC Ministers of Finance and Economy, noting that the council will discuss a number of memoranda and reports referred by the ministerial committees, especially those related to strategic dialogues, negotiations between the GCC and economic blocs, as well as other topics related to regional, Arab and International conditions of concern to the GCC.
