There's good news for all chicken lovers in Australia. KFC announced on social media 'Chicken Cheque' which will give one lucky Australian a chance to grab fried chicken for one year.
The offer was announced to mark National Fried Chicken day and the winner is entitled to $100 worth of KFC products each week, for 52 weeks, or about 458, 3-Piece Boxes.
Customers are required to explain why they, or someone they know, should be the winner by commenting on the KFC Australia Facebook page. Although, multiple entries are permitted, they have to be unique.
KFC's chief marketing officer Angela Richards said they were looking for weird and wacky stories, or chicken-loving tributes.
"National Fried Chicken Day is obviously one of our favourite calendar dates, so we wanted to do something special not only for the joy of fried chicken but the people who adore KFC the most," Richards was quoted as saying in Daily Telegraph.
"We're looking for hilarious stories, wacky anecdotes and huge displays of immense love for KFC tasty fried chicken to help us choose our overall winner. The bigger and bolder the story, the better! Richards added.
The enthusiasts have just 24 hours to come up with a winning response as the entries will be evaluated on Wednesday evening. And, lucky winner will be announced within two working days.
