I have very dull and dry arms and hands. Can you suggest some home remedies?
- Christina
Take 1 tablespoon carrot juice, add 1 teaspoon almond powder and 1 teaspoon honey to it in order to make a smooth paste. Scrub off the mask, and apply moisturiser. Apply this to your arms, then do this every day for 15 days, then every alternate day for desired results.
I am 14 years old and my hair gets very dry and rough after I shampoo. Also, I wish to reduce dark circles. Can you suggest a home remedy?
- Sally
Dry hair needs rich nourishment. Oil your hair with coconut, olive or even almond oil; follow with steam, if possible. Shampoo just once with a creamy shampoo egg base, aloe vera or any herbal shampoo. And while the hair is damp, take just two drops of oil and apply all over your hair, distributing evenly with a wide-tooth comb. Once dry, your hair will be manageable. Avoid hair dryers or hot showers as this damages the hair and drink at least 9-10 glasses of water daily. For dark circles, potato is an excellent treatment to lighten them and reduce puffiness around the eyes.

I have pimples and apply tea tree oil on them. But it tends to burn my skin. What should I do?
- Ruby
Tea tree oil has antiseptic properties. If you want to treat pimples, add aloe vera gel to it. This combination is soothing for the skin, and also treats pimples.
I've been reading your column. Your acne treatment for my daughter and one for tackling rough skin for my granddaughter worked miracles. So, there are three generations that have been following your remedies. I have oily and limp hair. Please suggest a solution.

I have no words to express my gratitude for your faith in my work. I'd suggest a simple treatment: Take apple juice, add 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon honey. Massage this concoction on your hair and rinse one hour later with a mild shampoo. Avoid using hair conditioner. You will notice your hair getting fuller and the texture becoming more beautiful.
