I am a working mom with a small baby and do not get much time for beauty routines. I would like some easy and handy tips for good skin and hair. My skin is normal but I can see signs of ageing: how do I make it fresh and supple? My hair is silky but thin.
- Charu
Take a teaspoon of fresh carrot juice, half-a-teaspoon honey and a few drops of coconut milk, and mix with some corn flour. Apply on full face; rinse off after 20 minutes with cold water. For thin hair: massage potato juice on hair, leave on for 30 minutes, rinse off in shower. Do this thrice a week, and it will add volume to your hair. Castor oil is also a good hair thickener; add it to coconut or almond oil, and massage on to hair twice a week to improve volume.
I am a 23-year-old woman and my hair is very curly, and the growth is constrained; I'm also getting a lot of white hair. Recently, I had a lot of dandruff. I tried your remedy and it has decreased. Please give me some remedies to get rid of dandruff completely, get straight and long hair, and prevent my hair from greying.
- Shamsa
Dandruff can restrict hair growth. Here is a recipe that will remove dandruff, smoothen your hair and stimulate circulation. Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, 9 drops of rosemary oil, 9 drops of tea tree oil and half-a-teaspoon of cinnamon powder; mix, and rub into scalp and rest of the hair. Comb through. Leave on for 1 hour, then rinse off in shower. As a final rinse, spray black tea water on hair. Allow this to dry on hair. Spraying black tea will help coat and tone your hair. Curly hair, when combed while aloe vera gel is applied, helps to reduce curls. Do this treatment thrice a week.
I am a great fan of yours, and would like to purchase your books Simply Beautiful volume 1 and 2. I searched every bookshop, but couldn't find them. Please help.
- Zinnath
Thanks for your enquiry and please forward book orders to my website; my email is rima@rimasoni.com. All my three books will be available on Amazon very soon.
I am a 15-year-old girl, diagnosed with PCOS. As a result, I have light facial hair. Can you please suggest a remedy to get rid of it?

Mix turmeric with aloe vera gel, apply on face, then scrub off - this will help lift the fine hair. But if this doesn't work, get the areas waxed by a professional. Over time, waxing reduces hair growth. If it further bothers you, get a laser treatment done from a reputed medical clinic: it is safe and long term.
I am a 12-year-old girl. The area around my lips is darker than the rest of my complexion (there is no facial hair). Please suggest an effective and quick remedy for this.
- Shirin
Drink enough water, and add greens to your diet. Apply a thin film of coconut cream on the dark area and leave overnight. Rinse off next day. This will help exfoliate the dead skin, making the area look bright and light.
