I have poker straight hair, and at times, when I go out with my friends or to parties, I feel like a change. Can you tell me a natural way of getting curly hair - even if it is only for a few hours?

  • Anonymous
Massage two tsps of aloe vera gel into your wet hair, after shampooing. Then scrunch your hair in whatever style you want. Ideally, let your hair down and then start scrunching from the end, moving upwards towards the roots. Dry your hair with cold air from the hair dryer. This will give you a curly, scrunched-up look.
I have oily hair, and despite using shampoos and conditioners 'for oily hair', it remains oily and sticky. Kindly let me know of a home remedy to fix this problem.

Mix gram flour with water and half a tsp of sandalwood powder, and apply this thick mixture as a hair mask. Leave in until it dries and then rinse with cold water. Avoid using hair conditioners or hot air dryers, and ensure you only use cold water to rinse your hair. Avoid eating spicy or oily food, and drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water every day.
My husband has very dark elbows, and refuses to let me apply lemon juice on them - saying it's a very 'girlie' thing to do. Is there any other way I can help him get rid of his ugly elbows? He doesn't feel like wearing half-sleeved T-shirts on account of his elbows, but he has to since he's an avid golfer. Please help!

Add a capsule of vitamin E to some moisturising lotion and tell him to apply this to his elbows every night before he goes to sleep; he has to do this regularly for best results. He should also wear sun protection of at least SPF 30 on his face, neck and arms and apply it at least 20 minutes before going out to play with his mates.
I am a 58-year-old woman, and I have white hair in my eyebrows. I've decided to age naturally so am dead set against hair dyes or hair colours. But my steely resolve is not holding up in the case of my eyebrows: I am desperate to get rid of the white hair (without using hair colours). You seem to have a solution for everything under the sun - so I am hoping you can help me out here.

My treatments come from over 30 years of experiments with natural home solutions, so I'll definitely see what I can do to help. For your eyebrows, apply tea water over them daily to give them colour. Leave this overnight for best results.
I am a 16-year-old boy, and I have smelly feet. Everyone makes fun of me, and nobody wants to get anywhere close to me. I have good hygiene - I take a bath twice a day and make a special effort to wash my feet with good quality soap. But nothing seems to be working. Can you suggest a remedy?

Soak your feet twice a day in a cold basin of water into which you should add 1 tsp of Epsom salt and 2 drops of peppermint oil. Every night, right before going to sleep, rub cornflour between your toes. Also ensure that you are drinking at least seven to 10 glasses of water daily.
