The magic green powder
First, they brought us IKEA. Now the Swedes have invented a new 100 per cent natural appetite suppressing solution that promises to help shed bodyweight and stave off diabetes and obesity! This new magic green powder, called Eatless, is extracted from spinach and is packed with thylakoids that work towards slowing down digestion and absorption of food fat, thereby transmitting satiety signals to the brain and reducing the urge for mindless overeating.
Developed by Swedish Health, in collaboration with a Swedish scientific research group from Lund University of Sweden, Eatless is clinically proven, natural and easy to consume, without any side effects. In addition to suppressing appetite, it reduces waist circumference and improves metabolic parameters such as cholesterol and glucose levels. It also directly targets flab around the waist. To find out more about Eatless and how to buy it, go to www.eatless.ae.

Give a Kilo of Kindness
To celebrate the charitable spirit of Ramadan, Mövenpick Hotel JLT is inviting the public to donate non-perishable food for its 'Kilo of Kindness' campaign. The food-raising drive invites members of the public to simply drop off their donations - canned food, like tuna, soup, fruit, vegetables; dry food, like rice, beans, oats, pasta, cereals, flour, powder milk, tea; non-glass packaged food like olive oil, canola oil, honey; baby food; milk formula; infant cereal; clothing; school supplies - at the hotel lobby during Ramadan until June 30. The food will go to Beit Al Kheir Society. The charity supports the elderly, widowers, divorced women, families of prison inmates, people of special needs, orphans, students, as well as other people undergoing hardship.
