Discover India through dance
If you're wondering what to do this weekend, Indian actor and dancer, Shobana, is all set to wow UAE audiences with her latest production 'Trance - Dancing Drums'. With two shows set to take place at Centrepoint Theatre, DUCTAC, October 21-22, the event is part of her quest to present Indian performing arts with a blend of poetry, and pre-recorded and live music. As she dances along to the music interwoven with Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam songs, the performance may very well leave you in a trance. For the kids
Here's a cool way to keep the kids entertained - take them to the newly-opened FabyLand. The fun destination, launched by Al-Othain Leisure and Tourism Co in Dubai Festival City, is open every day from 10am to midnight, and has a variety of attractions to delight your children. There are also great attractions to help you bond as a family including bumper cars and family swings. Meanwhile, older kids will love the more extreme rides such as Air Racer, Mini Discovery, Top Dancer and Drop n Twist Tower. There's a lot to do and not enough time - so don't be surprised if the kids don't want to leave when it's over. For more information, visit www.fabyland.ae.
Show your support
Tips & Toes recently welcomed influential UAE-based personalities to create their own pink manicure designs for breast cancer awareness, all of which can be recreated for customers throughout October. If that's not enough, they've also launched Pink Ladies packages throughout the month, starting from Dh220, with Dh25 being donated to charity. Supporting a cause has never been so relaxing and pampering.
