It's a Fashion Extravaganza
AZA Fashions, India's premier multi-designer retailer, in collaboration with Numaish Lifestyle Exhibition, is bringing you a trunk show to fulfil all your shopping desires. To take place at Shangri-La, Dubai, on Feb 15 and 16 (11am-7pm), this one-stop retail destination will include carefully curated collections of some of India's most celebrated designers - including Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna, Tarun Tahiliani, Anita Dongre, Sukriti & Aakriti and more. This is the place to be if you're looking to snap up the latest trends for your wardrobe. Valet parking is free for all shoppers. For more information, go to www.azafashions.com.
For the gram
Burjuman is all set to be transformed into a food lover's dream. Starting Feb 15, giant food installations will be found throughout the mall including spinning doughnuts, moving noodles and colourful sushi rolls. Restaurants within the malls - like Asia Kitchen by Mainland China and Noodle House - will be offering giveaways, and shoppers who spend Dh100 or more between February 21 and March 9 stand to win a brand new 2019 Nissan Patrol. Don't forget to take pics of the giant installations and upload them with the hashtag #BurJumanFoodArt on Instagram - as Cold Stone Creamery and VOX Cinema vouchers are up for grabs.
The great biryani festival
Who can resist the iconic rice dish? The perfect blend of spices, flavours and meat, biryanis have a way of bringing people together. Which is why Indus Restaurant has created a special biryani menu. From Nargisi biryani to Samundari biryani, non-vegetarians can expect a real treat. Vegetarians don't need to feel left out - soya chaap ki biryani, hare masala ke biryani and more will ensure they're satisfied too. The menu runs until March 1. For reservations, call 04-8868713.
Learning can be fun
British Orchard Nursery is launching a special camp meant to help children aged 1-4 have oodles of fun while exploring the world of mathematics. Starting from March 31, the two-week camp will help young campers learn math through rhymes and stories. Fun and adventurous activities will be planned around two popular stories by prize winning-author Julia Donaldson. The spring camp is open across all 20 branches of the pre-school. For more information on this educational experience, email info@britishorchardnursery.com.
Create a portfolio
The Palette Art Training and Consultancy is having a free information session on portfolio guidance on February 21, from 6pm-7.30pm. The session is open to prospective students looking to pursue a degree in art, design or architecture in the US, UK, India or Canada. Portfolios created by students at Palette will also be on show.
