To make weather reports and forecast easily accessible to the public, a mobile app was launched in 2016 by NCMS.
The free 'Weather UAE' app available on Apple and Android phones gives viewers real-time weather predictions using a multi-view feed with views and observations meeting world standards.
The key features of this well-illustrated app include forecasts from over 70 weather stations positioned across the UAE, which can give area-specific predictions. The app also compiles forecast from all airports in the country in addition to the regular marine and forecast bulletin.
