NCMS warns of poor visibility

Weathermen forecast a partly cloudy weather until tomorrow. Rain intensity is expected to increase during night and tomorrow early morning, especially over the coasts and the northern areas, and may be thundery at times. Winds will be moderate to fresh, especialy over the sea. Wind will remain Northeasterly - Northwesterly / 15 - 35 km/hr on land, reaching 30 - 45 km/hr over the sea.

An NCMS bulletin forecast cloudy weather during Monday morning, with scattered rain, especially over the northern and the eastern areas. The cloud amounts will gradually decrease during the afternoon, and the weather will become partly cloudy in general to the end of period.

Winds will be moderate to fresh in general during Monday daytime, especialy over the sea, and the sea will be rough, then winds become moderate to light by night and Tuesday, and sea will become moderate.

Warning for motorists

The national centre of meteorology and seismology urged the motorists to take precaution on roads due to the reduced visibility during the next two days.

As rains are expected on Sunday and Monday the NCMs asked the motorists to take extra caution on slippery roads and to avoid approaching flooded areas and wadis.
