The Abu Dhabi city continued on Friday morning to receive rains that started late last night. The temperature dipped into the lover twenties overnight. The sky remains cloudy promising more showers later in the day.

According to the National Centre of Metereology and Seismology (NCMS), most of the interior parts of the country remained partly cloudy on Thursday. The same weather condition will prevail today.

A spokesman of the centre told Khaleej Times that the country may witness cloudy weather for a long time with moderate rains that may turn to heavy later. The temperature dropped from 26.6 degree Celsius on Wednesday to 25.9 degree Celsius on Thursday. “The temperatures, however, will increase to 26 on Friday,” he said.
