Thank you, dear readers, for choosing Khaleej Times as your preferred news provider. The latest National Readership Survey 2017 by Ipsos shows that Khaleej Times' readership footprint has become bigger in the UAE, across all the emirates.

In 2017, our readership grew to 11.9 per cent in Abu Dhabi (up from 11.5 per cent in 2016) while Dubai saw our readership grow to 18.5 per cent (up from 18.1 per cent in the previous survey). In Sharjah, our readership grew to 19.3 per cent (up from 18.8 per cent) while 'other emirates' saw our readership swell to 16.5 per cent (up from 15.9 per cent).

In the era of declining print audience (overall newspaper readership in the UAE for all dailies slipped from 63 per cent in 2016 to 59 per cent in 2017, according to Ipsos data), we are indeed lucky to have you among our loyal and growing base of readers.

We take your continued patronage and our growing readership in a shrinking market as your vote of confidence in Khaleej Times' editorial credibility, high journalism standards, independent and bias-free reportage, and our creative design presentation. We will strive to better inform, engage and entertain you this year as we look forward to a lasting and mutually rewarding partnership with you.

The definitive Ipsos NRS is based on responses from 4,000 UAE residents, including a mix of nationalities (Emiratis, Arab and non-Arab expatriates).
