Digital trade in Abu Dhabi is witnessing remarkable growth, study shows
An 18-month-old Emirati drowned in a swimming pool at her Ras Al Khaimah home on Monday evening, the authorities said.
The toddler was immediately taken to Saqr Governmental Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
The tragedy follows a number of recent drowning incidents in the emirate.
Earlier this year, an Emirati child died in a swimming pool — less than 30 days after a four-year-old and his nanny drowned in a hotel pool.
The authorities have repeatedly reminded parents and families to always keep an eye on children, especially near swimming pools.
