Motorists experienced significant delays reported in parts of UAE during the rush hour commute on Sunday morning.
In the capital, a car broken down on the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street on before Mohammed bin Khalifa Road inbound, Abu Dhabi traffic police tweeted. It was cleared later.

According to Google Maps data, an accident was reported on Al Khail Road after Al Quoz Pond Park, causing a major traffic delays.

Huge tailbacks were observed on Sheikh Zayed Road and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road towards Dubai from Sharjah.

Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternative routes wherever possible.
