The UAE boasts of being one of the most stable economies in the Middle East, attracting a large chunk of expatriates moving to the region - making Dubai the top cosmopolitan city according to a recent study as well as the best city for quality of life in the region along with Abu Dhabi.
A 2015 report by global research and advisory firm Universum ranked UAE as the top country where salary expectations are the highest.
Business students in the UAE expected to earn annual salaries equivalent to $82,538, according to the report.
While salaries in the UAE are above as compared to other countries in the region, 64% respondents of a 2015 Bayt.com research believed that salaries in the country were increasing.
It is noteworthy that according to a recent study, salaries are expected to increase by 5 per cent in the GCC, including the UAE.
