Hundreds of residents here on Sunday evening bid farewell to five members of a family who were killed in an accident in Oman.
The deceased members of family of Emirati business man Abdullah Ali Khalifa Al Rumaithi included his wife Zahra Mohammed Mamasan, her Indian brother Haneef Mohammed Mamasan, and their three daughters Aliya, Mira, and Fatima.

Hussain Abdullah Al Rumaithi, stepbrother of the late girls, told Khaleej Times that his stepmother, stepsisters and their uncle were on a one-week journey to the scenic Salalah area in Oman.
"The family, accompanied by their mother and uncle, left for Oman on Thursday, spent the Friday night in Muscat, and headed to Salalah on Saturday when the tragic collision, involving a heavy truck, took place at the Bahla state of Al Dakhliya province, Oman."
'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return'", said Hussain in tears.

"We have not told our 80-year-old father about the tragedy because he has been in a comma for a long time at an intensive care unit."
The children's uncle, Mamasan, was driving the car when the mishap happened, said Adel Rashid Al Ghawi, stepbrother of the deceased girls.
"Fatima, 18, is the eldest, and has just joined the university this year whereas Mira, 15, is in Grade-9, and Alia, 12 is in Grade-7."
