City Centre Sharjah invites residents and tourists to put the pedal to the metal to get active and win instant prizes every day in an exciting new interactive game this month.
The mall has launched 'Pedal Power', a game created exclusively for visitors to City Centre Sharjah that is modelled on slot car racing. But participants won't have remote controls to race the miniature cars on a specially designed track in the mall. They'll have to get active and peddle a stationary bike the fastest to give their cars the speed to win!
Shoppers who spend Dh299 at City Centre Sharjah until August 31 can redeem their receipts for a coupon to enter the grand draw to win a brand-new 2017 Toyota Fortuner. The same spend will also give them an opportunity to earn bragging rights in the Pedal Power challenge and win gift cards and retailers' vouchers.
The mall has set up a track that is powered by stationary bicycles for the game. The faster participants pedal, the more speed they will inject into their miniature cars on the track. When they brake, their car will brake too! Six participants will compete in each round to be crowned champions, receive a medal and vouchers.
"Physical activity often takes a backseat in summer because of the heat but at City Centre Sharjah you can enjoy a fun exercise indoors with a chance to win mall vouchers in our new exclusive game Pedal Power this month," said Mohammed Al Rais, Sr. Mall Manager - City Centre Sharjah.
The mall recently announced a Dh260 million redevelopment to expand their retail and entertainment offering, which will include a 12-screen VOX Cinemas. Shoppers can continue to enjoy all the stores, services and restaurants at the mall with only minimal disruption during this redevelopment phase.
