The Abu Dhabi Police on Friday took to social media to announce the new speed limit, saying that they had decided to reduce the speed limit for all light and heavy vehicles for smooth movement of traffic and to maintain safety on the road.
The new speed limit, which is now 80kmph, will come into effect starting from September 1.
