Facility showcases its exciting proposition at the 2024 arabian travel market
Dubai's famous 10-day Ramadan Night Market is all set to open on June 23 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The event - which will run until July 2 - will be open from 8pm to 2am, and will include a variety of products and brands from around the region, as well as food, entertainment and lucky draws. Entry is Dh5 per person and children under five get in free.
"Given the massive popularity of the market, I believe we can safely say this is one of the most awaited consumer events for Dubai residents," said Samantha Cordeiro Miranda, Brand Manager, Ramadan Night Market at Sumansa Exhibitions, which is putting on the market. The appeal lies in the wholesome experience the event provides for families in particular who find few entertainment avenues during Ramadan. "The fair is a great combination of a shopping experience with a bazaar-like feel which offers something for everyone. There is shopping, deals and bargains, of course, plus food which is one of the biggest magnets, and then there are games. This year, besides increasing the variety of retailers, we've also upped the entertainment quotient with our new addition, a puppet show by the famous Confetti Theatre," said Miranda.
"During the hot summer months, parents need a place where they can take their kids to play, and the indoor market provides the perfect combo. It is easy for adults to keep an eye on their children since the Play Area is in close proximity with the shopping and food stalls, which works beautifully," added Samantha.
Visitors can look forward to browsing through products ranging from clothing, jewellery and accessories, health and beauty products, personal care, perfumes, food, home appliances, electronics, toys and baby items, handicrafts and souvenirs and collectibles. The consumer fair also hosts travel and tourism retailers as well as medical institutions.
Other attractions at the market include a massive food court hosting a variety of food from across the region and beyond, as well as an Arabic-themed majlis and an exclusive henna painting section for ladies.
The night market will host a play area for kids. Activities making a comeback this year include trampoline for kids, aeroplane and train rides, mountain climbing for teens, the popular rodeo bull and many more.
Additionally, every day will feature the Confetti Show focused on educating children through puppetry and songs, teaching them important social behaviour, besides addressing health and fitness issues.
